Be an online marketer and know the recent trends and tricks of digital marketing with the SEO and Digital Marketing Diploma Level 3 course.
SEO and digital marketing are the two essential ways of marketing. It becomes mandatory for you if you have an online business. Digital marketing means marketing through the digital media. The course can mainly be divided into two parts: at first, the concepts of SEO techniques will be taught. Then the procedures of digital marketing will be focused on the course.
You will learn about the recent trends in SEO including Local SEO. You will also learn how to start an affiliate site. The course explains both social media marketing and email marketing. In social media marketing part, you will learn how to apply the marketing strategies in Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest. Finally, the course teaches you how to use Google Adwords, and create a profitable blogging site.
There is no experience or previous qualifications required for enrolment on this course. It is available to all students, of all academic backgrounds.
The course is assessed online with a multiple-choice test, which is marked automatically. You will know instantly whether you have passed or not. Those who pass this test will have the qualification of SEO and Digital Marketing Diploma Level 3. Certificate will be produced in PDF format at an additional cost of £9.99, Printed Hardcopy at £12.99 and both at £19.99.
The first module was relatively useful, after which it descended into teaching everyone how to suck eggs.
Spelling & grammar mistakes all over the material, and particularly the tests which were a complete mess.
One answer in the test required me to say "PRICELESS INFORMATION" instead of simply "Information" - I mean, come on!!! (I should add that I passed the tests 1st time despite the numerous confusing elements, banal & trick questions. Won't be paying £24+ just for a PDF certificate though)
Some of the module contents said "in our last e-mail we discussed..." which is obviously copy-pasted from someone's mailing list and other freely available information. Lots of the content is from 2016 and is now out of date.
At one point we are told "include common spelling mistakes for your keywords & phrases" and in another we are told all spelling and grammar must be correct lest google demotes you for spam?? (I chuckled at being lectured about spelling & grammar by the fool who put this mess together)
There are some heavy PDFs towards the end, some of which just restate all the same stuff and others are just adverts for paid services.
Whole modules on the basics of Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest, nothing which can't be found when setting up your account on these platforms -_-
SOME good stuff and recommended for absolute beginners, anyone looking for advanced or current material should look elsewhere.
Great source of information and expanding on ones knowledge - Some of the information was a little outdated and would be five-stars if courses were up to date. "Exam" needs reviewing for it's grammar and question, but apart from that It was a great course. Highly recommended if you have the spare time to learn something new.
